Kill the Flicker in IE 8
Users of Internet Explorer 8 may have noticed a retina-rattling flickering effect when using QuickBase. Well, fear not! There is an easy way to address this problem until Intuit resolves this compatibility issue. IE8 includes a feature called Compatibility View, which simulates an older version of the browser. Compatibility View is specific to individual websites, so using this feature will not affect the rest of your web browsing experience.

To turn on Compatibility View, first navigate to QuickBase.com. Then, click the Compatibility View button, which is located on the right side of IE8’s toolbar (it’s the torn page icon between the address bar and the refresh button). With this activated, QuickBase should return to normal. However, it might take a few extra hours for your headache to go away.
